This window gives you access to the dynamic AHC OrBat which provides an up-to-date view of the AHC chain-of-command.

The left side of the window shows a tree view of the unit hierarchy. You can
open up any unit to see its constituents
by clicking on the little icon
to its left.
Selecting a unit by clicking on it in the tree view, or by clicking on its icon if it is displayed in the Map Area, will display detailed information about the unit in the right side of the window. The components in the right side are described from top to bottom:
The full name of the selected unit is displayed at the top. The Refresh button allows you to re-retrieve the OrBat information.
![]() | War Room Applet retrieves all the information required to display the AHC OrBat at once, when it is first needed. By default, it never retrieves or updates this information again. If the OrBat information changes (because a unit is added or removed, or because orders are changed, for example) you will not see these changes unless you use the Refresh button to get the latest information again. Since the AHC OrBat information does not change very often, you will probably not need to use this button very much. If you think a unit's orders may have changed, use the Refresh button to make sure you have the very latest OrBat information. |
The top display area displays a description of the unit, and may also display the unit's orders.
![]() | This area will always be blank unless you have at least Confidential security clearance--in other words, you must at least be registered in the Allies usergroup on the AHC forum to see unit orders in this area. |
The next area lists the unit's commanders and their positions in the unit.
The next area shows the communication channels, chat-lines and web sites used by the unit.
The last area gives you the opportunity to enter a commander's name and find out where in the OrBat they fall. Type a name here, and then press Commander Lookup:; any units for which that person is the commander will be selected.
Notice the textured vertical bar that separates the tree view from the rest of the OrBat window. Sometimes, you will need more room for the tree view or the unit description to see them clearly, or to get rid of the scroll bars. You can drag this bar to the right to give more room to the tree view, or to the left to give more room to the unit description.
